We checked out Parkcanada RV park in Delta BC and felt like should-of kept on going. It wasn’t our favorite place, here’s our review of it..

Where do you suggest we stay if not here? I need something close to the ferries. Thanks.
Marnie – We’re looking at heading up there again and leaving out of Port Angeles.. probably doing the State Park.. but when we’re there, will let you know..
Arrived there late one evening ( 2010) , chose it from the website because of it’s location – minutes from the ferry ( for Van. Island ) , aside from all the other things one can be disgusted by , I am very sure it is rat infested . Would have been better off spending the night in the ferry wait line . Absolutely horrific place .
Yep – I wouldn’t stay there.. we did end-up getting our money back from the Credit Card company.. Never pay with Cash!!
Wish we had seen these reviews before we went to Parkcanada RV! We were returning from a 6 week RV trip to the states, and we wanted to stay one night in delta so we could visit my husband’s sister and brother-in-law before catching the ferry back to the island. At the Parkcanada RV office, we had to pay before we were given a site – once we were registered and went thru the gate, we realized we had made a big mistake. Junky, dirty, muddy sites with many permanent trailers that looked like they should be at the dump! No cable, wasn’t able to connect to wifi even though I was told it was available. Our relatives were able to pick us up earlier than we expected to ho out for a meal, so when we got back to our 5th wheel, we decided just to leave and catch the 5:45 pm ferry to Duke point – never so glad to leave a place! It took the term
“Trailer park trash” to a whole new level!
I have to say that I had a great experience at Parkcanada. They have a new manager and she is doing a great job at cleaning things up there. I had a great conversation with her and understand what issues they have and things like that. She was very accommodating and helpful as well. As to the permanents that live there, anyone I spoke to were very nice people. I dont know about the rest of you but we shouldnt degrade people for things they can or cannot afford, as everyone needs a home and a place to stay. If you can only look at brand new units and things like that then you need to stay in parks that dont have the situations they have and that are not 25 years old! That’s the problem with society these days! As for muddy, it wasnt when I was there but Delta does get alot of rain so depending on when you were there it might have been but they cant control mother nature. Anyway I have said enough and I wish the new manager all the best!!!!
